Biography

Girish Narayan Prajapati received his Ph. D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, and a Master of Technology in Earthquake Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, India. His research interest includes the behavior of structural concrete reinforced with fiber-reinforced polymers, testing and characterization of FRP materials, and nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete structures. Girish is a Senior Structural Researcher at SFTec Inc., Montreal, QC, Canada, and Mitacs Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada. He has assisted in many past and ongoing concrete structure projects reinforced with SFT-bar through SFTec Inc.
